[FLASH-USERS] Active particles and upcoming release

All,

Some users have reported a bug related to active particles
in FLASH3, which may have compromised some of your results
if you were using that unit (it had no impact on simulations using
only tracer particles).
The FLASH code team has fixed the bug, and the
new version of the code is now undergoing testing. We expect
to release FLASH 3.1.1 in early January with this, and a few other minor fixes.

There is also a new tarball for visit available from the code support page on
FLASH website. This tarball converts all variable names to uppercase, and
therefore eliminates the inconsistency that was reported in some of the
earlier emails on this mailing list.
