[FLASH-USERS] specifying mean mass per particle

Hi Jonathan,

If you’re just using the Gamma EOS, then you should be able to specify these two parameters:

eos_singleSpeciesA
eos_singleSpeciesZ

for the mean molecular weight and mean atomic number of everything in the gas. So you’d just calculate whatever those are for your composition and then set the parameters to those values in the parameter file.

Best,

John

Having looked over the documentation, it's still unclear to me how to specify that. It seems to have to do with Eos.F90 and GAMC_VAR, GAME_VAR, but whether I need to edit EOS or specify those variables (in flash.par) is unclear to me. I don't want to evolve species independently at this point, so multigamma wouId not seem to be necessary. I have already altered the value of gamma to be 5/3. Any help would be appreciated.
