Hello,

You need to set your LD_LIBRARY_PATH variable to
"/usr/local/HDF5-1.8.17/lib".  This is what I had to do to fix a similar
issue.  I don't know the reason why it does this exactly, however, it is
looking for the shared library and is unable to find it.
