[FLASH-USERS] multi-species, multi-temperature reacting flows in FLASH

Dear all,

I'm new here and I would like to ask wheter it is possible to handle
multi-species, multi-temperature reacting flows in FLASH.
In particular, I'm interested in air 5 mixture with 4 temperature, one for
the standard translational mode and the other three associated to the
vibrational modes of the molecular species.
Does it have such capability?

Thank you,
Kind regards,

Hi,

I’m interested in performing a 2T (matter+rad) simulation using tabulated
EOS/opacity values in the setting of a Sedov-type problem. A few quick
questions:

   1. My understanding of the RadFLAH implementation is that it doesn’t
currently support tabulated EOS or tabulated opacities. Is this still
   the case?
   2. Because of number one, I was planning on doing something similar to
the GrayDiffRadShock example, i.e. 3T Hydro with MGD where T_ion and T_ele
are forced into equilibrium. Is there any benefit to doing this using
the method in the example (Spitzer heat exchange with scaling of
equilibration time) vs using the “immediate” heat exchange implementation?

 Thanks!

Keith
