If you know python, yt is probably a much better way to analyze and visualize FLASH data (it does a lot more than xflash does):

FLASH was the second code supported by yt back in 2011, and support has stayed pretty strong since then. 

I’m a bit biased, but I honestly feel like xflash should be deprecated.
