fair amount of work with Mac Ports I got the current mpich and
hdf5 libraries installed, but pointers and permissions remain a
problem.<br>

First, I placed /FLASH... in my home directory space and started
the Sedov build. That ended with a claim of SUCCESS, but the
make fails early on ...<br>

mpich paths apparently intelligible to the script, but some odd
permission error killing it.<br>

I'm not sure whether the build would require write permissions
or not, but as my normal "admin" user, I can certainly read the
contents of any part of the "/opt/local/..." pathways.<br>

What might be wrong here?</font></big><font size="+1"><font
face="Times New Roman, Times, serif"><big>
</big>What guidance on correct permissions can any of you
provide, please?<br>
