Hi Ong,

The simulation I was running with the sesame tables
didn’t use the radiation diffusion. You can specify a different
file for the opacity tables if you’re able to get some from
another source, it doesn’t need to be the same table as for the
EOS. This would be the “op_targFileType” & “op_targFileName”
parameters, where “targ” would be whatever your species name is.

Hi Adam,

I think you are right. I have the
useOpacity=.true. and that is why the error appears. I
just turned off the opacity and it runs. Do you manage
to solve for the opacity problem?
Hi Ong,

Are you using the converted sesame table
for the opacity table in FLASH? I don’t think that
opacplot does anything for opacities in the sesame
tables, or if they are common in the sesame tables
to begin with.

I have used successfully sesame tables
converted using opacplot2 with FLASH, but only for
EOS not the opacity.

Hi Adam,

Thanks for your reply. There are
some data I can convert (i.e. element

The sesame table you’re trying to convert
is probably missing the 304 tables for the
electron EOS. I’ve run into this problem
before for another of the sesame tables
that only included the 301 tables for the
total EOS.
