I am working on Z-pinch template, which uses blockId in order to stablish the random seed for every block. Nonetheless, I have checked that blockId has always the value 1 for every block, hence the random seed used (defined as sim_seed*blockId) is always the

 same and every block has the same structure on random perturbations, which leads to numerical, spurious periodicities.</div>
