<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=GB18030"><p>Dear FLASH users:</p><p>I am currently running radiation hydrodynamics simulations with FLASH and would like to ask a question regarding the choice of the flux limiter parameter.</p><p><strong>FLASH version:</strong> FLASH 4.7.1<br><strong>EOS / opacity:</strong> FEOS EOS with opacities generated from TOPS<br><strong>Material:</strong> Titanium (Ti) target</p><p>My question concerns the appropriate value of the flux limiter for this material setup.<br>Since the EOS and opacity tables are generated using FEOS and TOPS for a solid-density Ti target, I am unsure what value of fl is recommended or commonly used in this context.</p><p>Any guidance, references, or practical experience would be greatly appreciated.</p><p>Thank you very much for your help.</p><p>Best regards,<br>Xichen Zhou</p>
