<div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div>Hi all,</div><div><br></div><div>I hope to get some suggestions on running a custom geometry using a custom laserslab module. I created a 3D data array that is read into FLASH that constructs a custom geometry for the target. It's a random "log" geometry simulating a foam-like structure and it keeps stalling when the laser starts to ramp up. </div><div><br></div><div>My guess it has something to do with either the hydro settings, the dt factors and/or the diffusion BCs. I am less familiar with the sensitivity of these parameters.</div><div><br></div><div>I was hoping for some suggestions on how to have this run efficiently. What parameters should I increase or decrease or make true/false, to help this move forward. I am looking for penetration depth of the laser and electron density expansion in the vacuum side, so sub micron features aren't important but the logs are sub micron. Below is an stl image of the foam structure, where the long axis is the laser propagation direction. </div><div><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_signature" data-smartmail="gmail_signature"><div dir="ltr"><div><br></div><div>Any help is appreciated.
