xflash1d is for 1-d data only. In the current relesed version of FLASH,
the best way to produce slices through multid datasets is to do the slices
on the commandline, using the read/merge routines. fidlr has been
rewritten in the development version, and now allows you to plot slices
through 2-d data through the main widget interface (I'll add 3-d support
if there is time before the release). This will be included in the next
release of FLASH, which is due out soon.
