[FLASH-USERS] Active particles support

Hi Flash Users,
I'm working with active particles, simulating dust grains in the
protostellar gas disk. Mainly I'm concerned with gas drag on the particles.
I've had trouble occasionally with the stopping time for the particles
becoming shorter than the timestep, and I was wondering if anyone has any
suggestions for how to deal with that?
I am also just curious about how many others are working with similar
physics and might be able to offer the occasional help or discussion.
