Dear FLASH User:
We are sending you this message because you once requested and were granted
access to download the FLASH code from the Flash Center at the University
of Chicago. At a recent FLASH workshop held in Hamburg, Germany, it was
suggested that publications whose results were obtained using the FLASH
code be listed on the Center's website. We think this is a great idea.
We believe such a list would benefit both FLASH users and the Center. For
users, it would be an excellent source of information about work by other
users that is similar to their own, and has the possibility of increasing
citations to their own work. It could also reduce the time it takes users
to collect references for their own publications. For the Center, it would
help us in making the case that there is a large and active FLASH user
community when the Center applies for funding to support the development
and maintenance of FLASH.
We will therefore begin right away to list on the Center website
publications whose results were obtained using FLASH. We urge you to send
us the list of your relevant publications, preferably in bibtex format, so
that we can include them on the website.
Thank you.
The Flash Team
