Hi Sean,

This is the error I get:

 >>>>>>>>>>>
VisIt could not read from the file
"/short/fm5/irs120/rundir_IcSN/IcSN_hdf5_chk_* database".

The generated error message was:

There was an error opening /short/fm5/irs120/rundir_IcSN/IcSN_hdf5_chk_*
database. It may be an invalid file.
VisIt tried using the following file format readers to open the file:
<No suitable plugins were identified>
<<<<<<<<<<<

If I turn file grouping off, I get a similar error when I try to read a
single file. For example:

 >>>>>>>>>>>
VisIt could not read from the file
"/short/fm5/irs120/rundir_IcSN/IcSN_hdf5_plt_cnt_0034".

The generated error message was:

There was an error opening
/short/fm5/irs120/rundir_IcSN/IcSN_hdf5_plt_cnt_0034. It may be an
invalid file.
VisIt tried using the following file format readers to open the file:
<No suitable plugins were identified>
<<<<<<<<<<<

Not sure what's going on here. I tried also "visit -assume_format
FLASH", but to no avail.

Cheers,

Ivo
