[FLASH-USERS] Tips for Faster I/O?

Hi FLASH-users,

My goal is to reduce the time spent writing plotfiles (hdf5), which are
currently ~100 GB each and take a few minutes to write per file.

I'm using +paralellIO which did cut the output time by ~half.

I'm now looking into HDF5 compression - but it looks like FLASH doesn't
chunk data by default (?)

If anyone has tips or tricks, particularly regarding if HDF5 compression is
worthwhile continuing to dig into, I'd very much appreciate your words of
wisdom.
