Hello,
You can see how the code handles the ‘circuit’ BC (and other BCs) in Grid_bcApplyToRegion.F90. The circuit BC uses a zero-gradient (ie, outflow) condition for non-B-field variables, and it also forces velx = vely = 0.

Subject: [FLASH-USERS] The fluid effect of circuit boundary_type
Dear Flash developers and all ,
My question is, what other functions does circuit boundary_type has besides converting current into boundary magnetic conditions? Is its fluid boundary effect equivalent to peridic, reflect, or outflow(zero-gradient)?
Thank you very much for your help!
Lizy
