Hi Peter,
grep is your friend:
grep -nr DELE .
and I'm guessing this is the one you are interested in:
./physics/RadTrans/RadTransMain/NeutrinoLeakage/rt_calcLeak.F90:357: solnData(DELE_VAR,i,j,k) = qener
That variable is the rate of change in the specific internal energy (so erg/g/s) due to neutrino emission/absorption
Evan

Subject: Re: [FLASH-USERS] Calculation of output values
Ernesto,
I had looked through that, but I wasn't able to find what I was looking for. It may be in part that based on the output, all I know about the parameter is what it is called there, and that may not be entirely helpful. I am trying to figure out what, and how "dye" and "dele" are calculated. I can assume that "dele" is deleptonization, but I can't seem to find anything in that unit for how it is calculated.

Hi Peter,
not all output variables are calculated in one place, but in different code units.
Maybe you can have a look at chapter 14 of the user manual for the main variables.

I Hope this helps.
Best!

Hello,
I'm trying to find out how particular values that are in the output files are calculated, but I can't seem to find out how. I'm guessing there is some file that can point me to where particular values are calculated, I've looked through a few files with no luck, any ideas?
