Hi Ed,
Apologies for the late reply; this email went to my spam folder, which I
check irregularly. I don't think cosmic rays have ever made it to a public
FLASH release. Karen Yang & Mateusz Ruszkowski developed a cosmic ray
module in FLASH. You can find additional details in:
Yang et al. 2012, 2013 and Yang & Ruszkowski 2017.
Since cosmic rays are now part of the public Athena++ release, they might
be willing to share their implementation. It's still in FLASH4.2.2, but one
of my goals for September is to port to FLASH4.8. All of that is one-moment
transport (both diffusion and streaming). It would be nice to have
two-moment in FLASH, perhaps leveraging HYPRE, etc.
