Dear FLASH users,
I successfully installed FLASH4.8 on MacOS 12.7.6 using Leland Ellison’s installation guide for Mac.
Ran the Sedov test problem (both serial and parallel) successfully.
Wanted to test something with Hypre (diffusion) problem (Step 13 from Leland’s guide), and got the error: “Unit mgd is ambiguous”.
Below is the terminal output after running setup:
./setup -auto magnetoHD/ZPinch -1d +cylindrical +ug species=fill,line,vacu +mtmmmt +usm3t + mgd mgd_meshgroups=6 +hdf5typeio
Processing Shortcut file: /Applications/FLASH4.8/bin/setup_shortcuts.txt
***WARNING*** Ignoring unknown shortcut + while expanding + mgd mgd_meshgroups=6
+hdf5typeio.
WARNING: Multiple problem names given. winner=mgd
no flashPar.py found
Potential completions : MGDStep, MGDInfinite
Unit mgd is ambiguous
Any help is appreciated.
