metadata
========
The installation of flmake generates a metadata file that is used to store information
common and essential to all of flmake.  This information may be queried or changed with
the ``flmake metadata`` command.  By changing the values in this file, the way that 
flmake executes with respect to FLASH may be permanently changed.

**USAGE**:: 

    flmake metadata [-e|--edit]

If the ``--edit`` switch is present, the metadata file is opened with user's favorite 
editor.  If this flag is omitted then the metadata contents are printed to stdout.
