Dear Sam,

The current USM implementation does not support any non-Cartesian
geometry yet. It requires some further considerations such as
geometrical source terms.

For now, if you wish to have a 2D cylindrical coordinate support,
the best way is to add those capabilities in the code for your own.
It shouldn't bee too hard to do it, but it requires some tedious
code changes.

If you want to know further resources on a general grid geometry support,
please let me know. I can give you some references.
