Hi,

I've been looking to do some simulations in FLASH using some kind of solid density hydrocarbon as a target and I found the polystyrene-imx-001 files which I thought would be ideal for the case. On a little closer inspection though it seems that the polystyrene-imx-001 files I noticed that the .imx file reads:

   number of gases  =  2

     gas # atomic # number fraction atomic weight

       1                    1                     1.00000000           1.000
       2                    6                     0.00000000          12.000

which makes me wonder if what this file actually contains isn't just Hydrogen of gas density? When I look at the electron densities too at 1eV the number and mass densities also seem to be pretty low for polystyrene:

 Temperature             =  1.000E+00 eV
 Number density          =  1.000E+16 cm**-3
 Mass density            =  1.661E-08 grams/cm**3

Sorry if I'm missing something simple here, but I'm not sure that the file actually corresponds to polystyrene and wondered if you might have an EOS file that is for polystyrene or similar?

Many thanks,
Graeme
