[FLASH-USERS] Outputting Rosseland opacity in checkpoint files

Hello everyone,

I’m working with the multigroup radiation diffusion module in FLASH, and I
would like to have the Rosseland mean opacity written out in the
checkpoint/plot files in the same way that density, temperature, and other
cell-centered variables are output.

>From looking at the source, it seems FLASH is already computing Rosseland
means internally for radiation transport, but I don’t see them exposed in
the output by default.

Could someone advise on the best way to:

   1.

   Access the Rosseland opacity values that FLASH is already calculating,
   and
   2.

   Add them as an output variable (via the Config file / Simulation unit)
   so they appear in the chk/plt files?
