[FLASH-USERS] Inquiry re ion physical quantities in FLASH

Dear FLASH users and engineers,
I just came across the equation for ion number density (n_ion) in FLASH user guide, which as shown in the pic herein. [cid:925c2bf4-38b0-4d08-a9a2-5f83d530bb65]
Judging from the equation, does it mean that n_ion here represent the number density of all neuclei, including neutral atoms with Z =0 ? In that case ,does that mean all quantities
concerning ions in FLASH output ( like pion, eion etc.) all including neutral atoms, not just genuine ions?
